Information
Description
What It Is:
This is an 'All About Me!' worksheet. It prompts children to fill in personal information such as their name, age, where they live, the number of siblings they have, their favorite food and color, and their best friend's name. The worksheet also includes a table where students can indicate whether they like or dislike activities such as reading, listening to music, playing with friends, watching movies, drawing, dancing, playing computer games, and catching spiders.
Grade Level Suitability:
This worksheet is most suitable for Kindergarten to 2nd Grade (ages 5-8). The language is simple and the activities are common and age-appropriate. The writing prompts require basic sentence construction and vocabulary.
Why Use It:
This worksheet helps children develop self-awareness and practice basic writing skills. It encourages them to express their preferences and personal information in a structured format. It can also be used as an icebreaker activity to help students get to know each other.
How to Use It:
Provide each student with a copy of the worksheet. Read through the prompts together as a class, explaining any unfamiliar vocabulary. Allow students time to fill in the blanks and mark their preferences in the table. After completion, students can share their answers with the class or in small groups.
Target Users:
This worksheet is designed for young learners, particularly ESL/EFL students, and early elementary students who are beginning to develop their writing and self-expression skills. Teachers and parents can use this worksheet to facilitate self-introduction and language practice.
