Information
Description
What It Is:
This is a phonics worksheet designed to help children practice building words with the '-all' ending. The worksheet features pictures paired with the 'all' suffix. Children cut out the letter tiles at the bottom (b, f, t, m, w, sm) and paste them to the beginning of the 'all' suffix to create words like ball, fall, tall, mall, wall, and small.
Grade Level Suitability:
This worksheet is most suitable for Kindergarten and Grade 1. It reinforces basic phonics skills, specifically blending sounds to create words, which are foundational skills taught in these early grades.
Why Use It:
This worksheet provides a hands-on activity to help children learn and practice building CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words with a specific ending. It reinforces phonemic awareness, spelling, and reading skills through visual association with pictures.
How to Use It:
First, cut along the dotted line to separate the picture/suffix section from the letter tiles. Next, cut out each individual letter tile at the bottom. Match each letter tile to a picture and glue the letter tile to the left of the 'all' suffix to form the complete word.
Target Users:
This worksheet is beneficial for young learners in Kindergarten and first grade who are learning to read and spell. It is also useful for students who need extra practice with phonics and word building. It can also be used by ESL learners who are learning English phonics.
